Who Are You?

Who are you that disturbs my peace so often,
By shedding the same blood that keeps you and me on?
Two days of TV, and a few days of press;
What else for you from this act so cruel?
Innocent children, and the many common people,
Houses and livelihoods built with sweat and blood,
How much of evil on earth, they have done to thee,
For you to declare death and suffering for free?
Outsourced by Yama for bulk mode service,
Too heavily loaded with the billions on board?
Do you see your enemies among the dead,
Or the half-dead hundreds in the hospital bed?
Who are you that disturbs my peace so often,
By shedding the same blood that keeps you and me on?

Whom do we trust, the media, or the police,
Or the political Ravanas with scores of faces?
A couple of people, perhaps, for a few years in prison,
A decade or two later, when the memories are frozen!
The ones at the wheel, will never be found,
As we go after the car and its maker!
Justice, indeed your ways are bizarre!
Dare to show your face, for the ones who care….
